      can pathogenic bacteria + SIBO cause significant hair loss? directly or indirectly? I would think so, but how exactly? impact of toxins, nutrient malabsorption, pulling down the thyroid….
      have you seen this? prevalence? This client has also been dx with autoimmune so could be allopecia also.

        Lorraine,
        We haven’t seen it, but it is discussed as one potential problem of SIBO. It would be linked to poor absorption, i.e. B12 and other nutrients. The thyroid angle is an interesting thought.
