Liver testing when using Wormwood

i have been advised to have clients get their liver enzymes checked before starting any parasite cleanse including wormwood as it can cause an elevation and better to be safe.

What is your take on that? Have you ever seen using wormwood cause stress on the liver to any negative effects?

I have never seen issues botanicals, even wormwood. Therefore, making this an automatic for everyone isn’t likely necessary, but use your best judgement on this. I would take into consideration of complicating factors your patient may have, e.g. other disorders like diabetes, various medications they are on.

For most relatively healthy people the need for liver enzyme testing hasn’t been necessary.
