        HI,
        I had a client (Candida, P aeruginosa, SIBO) request a prescription for Nystatin from her PCP – to go along with Biocidin program. PCP said she would only script for the Nystatin if my client had colon hydrotherapy first. Although I think colon hydrotherapy may have a role, I heard you say that it may be contraindicated with SIBO as it could backwash and exacerbate sx. Advise?

          Lorraine,
          I have prescribed Nystatin to 100’s of people, the vast majority have never had colon hydrotherapy. I don’t know why this would be a requirement.
