        Dr Woeller,
        If apples can increase arabinose levels, should they be restricted in patients with candida overgrowth?
        Pears should also be avoided previously to urine sample obtention for OAT test. Do they also increase arabinose? Should they be restricted from diet in patients with candidiasis?

          Good idea to restrict apples.

          I am not sure if pears increase arabinose, or if there is some other marker on the test that is altered unrelated to candida. I will try and find out.
